Dear Friends:

Thank you for opening our newest edition of the Think Camp E-Newsletter. We’re deeply appreciative of the impact that supporters have had on camp over the years, and the links you will find here change to fit some of what’s new and exciting at camp. We hope that you will find the content interesting, and I welcome your feedback and suggestions at

The summer of 2018 has been awesome! Our Camp Director, Lisa David, and the incredible Harlam staff have led our campers through a jam-packed schedule of fun, discovery, tradition, and great ruach (spirit.) Enrollment for 2019 is already open and over 150 campers signed-up before they left from our First Session! We encourage you to learn more and share information about camp with your friends.

Our Harlam@60 anniversary effort is reaching a crescendo with the big Weekend Celebration on August 24-26 (register before the August 1 deadline,) and we currently have over 220 people confirmed for attendance. In this edition, you will find links to other special Harlam@60 opportunities. The release of our first two “Flashlight Time” podcast features will bring a smile to your face immediately. And we’re proud to share – through the dedication of her family and many donors – that we are close to our goal to be able to dedicate a new Machsan (athletic equipment storage building) in honor of Holly Smukler Walter (click here.) And I’m personally excited to introduce our “Leaders That Brought Us Here” series that will carry us through the Harlam@60 celebration with important stories of some of the incredible people that have informed our camp’s development. Check out the first feature on Rabbi Martin Rozenberg, who all Harlamites should know more about.

I look forward to seeing many of you later this summer, and remind you to…

Think Camp!
