4th of July Carnival, K’Far Rafting, Beltzville and so much more! Read below to find how each unit’s week was.

Carmel: Carmel had loads of fun over the past week. They went to Beltzville for a day at the “beach” and also received their Chavurah buddies. Campers also got to travel around Israel for Israel night while enjoying some homemade pita. Carmel also helped lead Harlam to victory at the Pinemere games! We are looking forward to Dorney Day and the camp play.

Sharon: This week we had a awesome time! We went to Beltzville and had really cool evening programs such as the pool party and Israel night! Today we said goodbye to our intro friends. We’re super excited for sorbet tomorrow!

Kineret: Kineret had lots of amazing experiences this week. We held a talent show, saw an Iron Pigs baseball game and went brought back the cup at the Pinemere games. We lead Friday Night Shabbat services, based on the theme of Gratitude. We can not wait for Dorney Day!

Arava: Arava had another very exciting week! We went to Dutch Springs, celebrated the 4th of July at the carnival, and played Family Feud at one of our evening programs. We also had Israel Night, where we got to learn about different singers from Israel. We are looking forward to going to Hershey tomorrow!

Galil: Galil had an incredibly exciting week! We had tons of fun at Dutch Springs and the 4th of July Carnival! We also took part in a variety of engaging evening programs such as Shark Tank, Pointless Debates and Israel Night! We are all super excited to go to Hershey Park this week!

K’Far Noar: K’far had another amazing week full of exciting events! The highlight by far was our rafting trip where we splashed, paddled, bonded, and only got a little bit sunburned! Evening program highlights include Israel Night, Culture Night, and Superhero Night. We also celebrated the 4th of July and hung out with Chavurah at K’farRah Palooza. We are looking forward to the Baltimore trip and Kineret/K’far buddies!

Chavurah: It was an exciting week in the village. We meet our Carmel buddies and have spent lots of time with them this week including a joint campfire and sitting together at services. During a Life program we had an incredible discussion about immigration. We also discussed political views with-in a Jewish context. Chavurah is packed and ready for their Boston trip!

Gesher: The Gesher participants had a great time at Beltzville and Dutch Spring with their campers. They also began their second specialty area rotation. They have begun to write and execute evenings programs with their peers. A highlight of the week was planning and running the annual 4th of July Carnival. They are looking forward to spending a day at Hershey!
