Second Session is off to a great start! Read below to see what each unit did during the first week of camp.

Carmel: We have hit the ground running in Carmel! We’ve had several action packed days, including Carmel/Chavurah Day, International Night and a Carmel “Welcome To Camp” Scavenger Hunt! We got to enjoy some sunshine and pool time and loved our first Camper Free Choice and Shabbat of the session! We can’t wait for your trip to Beltzville!

Sharon: Sharon has had a Sha-fabalous first week at camp! After meeting our bunks when we first got here, for our first night we learned some of the wacky traditions at camp! We are having fun with our arts and athletics periods and we even got to have our first adventure periods of the summer! Some of us climbed the tower, reached the top of the wall, and had some team-building fun at low ropes. The Harlam 60th Birthday Carnival was so much fun and we can’t wait to keep this great session going!

Kineret: It was a wonderful start to Second Session. We had a blast at the Iron Pigs Minor League baseball game. We experienced our first shabbat of the summer and our first time EVER going to Rak Dan. Some of our favorite evening programs included: Kineret University, Robot War and K’Far Buddy Night.

Arava: Arava had an amazing first week! We started our first rotation of arts and athletics, and jumped right into some unit bonding at our Teva campout! We are ready for a fantastic session!

Galil: Galil has a blast in our first week week of second session. We started our first ration of arts and athletics and we got to try adventure elements. We enjoyed fun evening programs including a Murder Mystery Night, Etiquette Night and Bunk Bonding. Galil Boys 1 and Girls 1 completed the first hike too! It has been a busy week in Galil and we are looking forward to exciting, fun programs and spending time with great friends in the week ahead!

K’Far Noar: K’Far had an amazing first few days of the session. We jumped right in and lead an amazing Torah service with two wonderful Torah readers. We got to Arts, Athletics, Adventure, and Teva. We are making new friends and coming together as a whole unit as we break out of our former bunk groupings. We are looking forward to rafting, New York, and Kineret K’Far buddies.

Chavurah: Moving Day went well despite the “swamp”. We are happy to report the village is drying out! Carmel/Chavurah Day was the best ever. We loved having our buddies put us to bed. We had a pointless debate, we rocked it out at Rak Dan and we laughed a lot at Improve Night.

Gesher: Gesher started their full session department area and cabin placements. They have been busy planning for the CIT Variety Show, The Gesher Family Shabbat and the Carnival. We went on a unit stream hike to enjoy some time together. They are looking forward to spending time with their campers at Beltzville, Dutch Springs and the Iron Pigs game.
