Week 3 was another fun filled week at Camp Harlam! Read below to find out what each unit has been up to!

Carmel: Carmel has had a jammed packed week! We rode rollercoasters at Dorney Park, had an amazing Nefesh Mountain concert, enjoyed new rotations of arts and athletics, and welcomed in Shabbat at Chapel on the Hill Friday night! We are looking forward to Maccabiah, leading Friday night services, and making the best of our last week together.

Sharon: We had a great week 3 in Sharon! We had a blast at Dorney Park and the Nefesh Mountain Concert. One of our favorite evening programs was Cake Dodgeball which a combination of cake decorating and playing dodgeball at the same time! We also enjoyed participating in Israel Night which was run by our Israeli staff.

Kineret: Highlights from our 3rd week of camp include: Dorney Park, The Nefesh Mountain Concert and our unit Talent show! We also celebrated two birthdays in our unit. Our favorite evening program of the summer was our Cupcake Wars decorating contest! It is hard to believe we only have 1 week left this session. Our campers are excited to participate in Maccabiah in a few days!

Arava: We have had an awesome week in Arava! This week, we did so many fun things! But one of our highlights was getting to go to Hershey Park! It was a fun filled day of incredible rides and lots of yummy candy of course. Another highlight was the Arava camp-out in the soccer field. We made s’mores, sang around the campfire and enjoyed star gazing. We can’t wait for the camp play and the banquet next week.

Galil: Galil has had an awesome week! We loved going on rides at our last trip to Hershey Park and eating lots of chocolate. We are really enjoying cooking in the teaching kitchen during CHAI-lights! We even gave some of our extra cookies to the security staff to thank them for all their hard work. We’re very excited to watch our friends thrive in the play on Monday and have some friendly Color War competition!

K’Far Noar: K’Far Noar had such a great week! We had a fantastic time on our Baltimore trip! Not only did we visit a museum focused on Jewish heritage and go bowling, but we also took a walking tour of the Naval Academy. Our unit finally got some Qdoba and Shake Shack in the “real world.” We are excited for our last week together and for the bittersweet time left.

Chavruah: What a great week for Chavurah! The highlight of the week was undoubtedly our Boston trip. We got tours of the city where we learned about different events in American history, recreated the senate, saw Spider-Man, went mini golfing, and ate lots of good food! We were happy to return to camp and get back into the swing of normal activities. Our last week as campers should be amazing!

Gesher: The Gesher participants finished their second rotation. They sang their hearts out at the Nefesh Mountain Concert last Saturday night. On Monday, they enjoyed hanging out at Hershey Park! Friday, Gesher danced the night away at Rak Dan. They are looking forward to their final rotation and their last time participating in Maccabiah as “campers.”
