So what is Gaga?  Doesn’t mean to be a “little off balance?  To go “Gaga” over seeing a famous person?  Is it about a famous person named “Lady Gaga”?  Is it an Israeli version of dodgeball the permeates jewish camps all over the world?  Gaga is “all the above”!

Looking back 7 years ago to when we were in Kineret, we never realized what kind of impact we truly made on our counselors. Being on Kineret staff, we get to experience what our counselors got to experience with us.

Our K’Far campers have done a beautiful job transitioning into the senior camp atmosphere and becoming a kehilah kedosha, or a sacred community. We have been able to see new friendships form, old friendships develop, and a type of harmony that is indescribable.

Time does just feel different here: we pack each moment so full of experiences, emotions, and connections that at the end of a day, it feels that you have grown and learned and have been so deeply impacted by what you have experienced that it’s hard to believe only hours have gone by.

The acceptance of each individual soul is what makes Camp Harlam such a unique and special place for all of us.
