A personal visit to Harlam is the best way to learn about us!

Offseason Visits

We offer tours of camp for families in the Fall and Spring seasons on weekdays and weekends. Tours are typically 90 minutes long. You can register here.

If you are unable to visit camp, one of our professional staff is happy to find a time to schedule a Zoom meeting with you or visit you in your home to learn more about your family, share what makes Harlam so special and answer any questions you may have. Please contact Rachel Steinberg at Rsteinberg@URJ.Org with any questions.

Rookie Day is a terrific opportunity for prospective new campers to enjoy a full day of fun at Camp Harlam! They’ll participate in group activities (like arts and sports) with other kids their own age, eat lunch in the Chadar Ochel (Dining Hall), hear from “real” campers about what camp is really like, and earn a certificate at the completion of the program. A camp tour and Q&A with our camp directors will be provided towards the end of the day for parents.

For more information about Rookie Day, click here. If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Steinberg.

Rookie Day is now on a waitlist. To be added to the waitlist, please apply here.

Our summer Taste of Camp is an overnight experience at camp for current 1st-3rd graders (2023-2024 school year), which takes place during our second session. In addition to participating in lots of activities, campers make connections that will help in their transition to overnight camp. This overnight experience will include programming for parents, including a Q&A with camp directors and camp tour.

For more information about Summer Taste of Camp, click here.  You can register for this program here!

Summer Taste of Camp is now on a waitlist for male-identifying participants. To be added to the waitlist, please email Rachel Steinberg.

Please reach out to Rachel Steinberg, Manager, New Family Engagement and Community Outreach, with any questions.

Summer Tours

We are excited to offer in-person family tours on our site in Kunkletown! All our tours are led for individual families by members of our Professional Staff team.

We offer private tours for future camp families on many days throughout the summer. Tours are generally offered between 10:00-12:00 PM and 1:00-3:00 PM, except for Saturdays (we only offer afternoon tours on Saturdays). Once you register for a tour, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a link to select your tour day/time. Register here.

If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Steinberg at RSteinberg@URJ.org.

Our camp directors are hosting virtual information sessions to introduce prospective families to Camp Harlam. Information sessions are intended for parents and future campers and will include a presentation by camp’s directors, the opportunity to address questions and concerns with a member of our Camper Care team, and activities for kids to learn more about camp and have fun.
