Leadership Team
The Leadership Team includes the people who supervise the units and departments that make up the program areas of camp. This group of staff ensure that camp is running smoothly in the summer. Each camper unit and department has a supervisor and may also have an assistant supervisor. Leadership Team members are supervised directly by the Professional Staff.

Specialty Counselors
A Specialty Counselor lives with a bunk of campers and has a specialty area that you lead during the program day. You will spend most of your day leading programs, activities, and lessons for campers of all ages, and will re-join your bunk for dinner and evening programming. You can specialize in a specific Art or Athletic, or in general Adventure, Teva (nature), Lifeguarding. You should have some experience in your specialty area before arriving to camp.

Cabin Counselors
As a Cabin Counselor, you are a primary caretaker for a bunk of campers. You live and follow the schedule of the day with your bunk of campers: actively participating, leading, and engaging with your campers in each program. In a typical day, you may join with your campers in the pool for Free Swim, participate in a period of Athletics, help lead an evening program, and much more.

Camper Care
In addition to our staff working directly with campers, Camp Harlam employs a Camper Care team of adult professionals with training and experience in a field related to child development. These professionals utilize their skills and expertise to support the work of our staff and to ensure campers have a successful and fun camp experience. When needed, the Camper Care team will be the staff that our families work with most directly. They are supervised directly by the Camper Care Manager, who is on the Professional Staff.
