Rachamim: Acting with Your Heart

Rachamim: Acting with Your Heart

Saturday morning our Galil (rising 8th graders) campers led a heart-felt service based on the middot, rachamim (acting with your heart). By Ari F. and Jacob F. We are campers in GB1. This service, we are focusing on rachamim, or acting with your heart. We have seen...

A Hole in One!

A Hole in One!

Finally, this week, we were able to sit together, where he unveiled his plans for a Camp Harlam miniature golf course. Complete with 10 holes (the first hole is a practice hole for those new to the sport), each representing one element of camp, he had a cleverly designed and color-coded map. A Place Where We All Belong

It’s a breathtaking view and it was a moving and beautiful celebration. I hope that these reflections help you to feel the sense of security, comfort, and joy your campers will experience in that space throughout this summer and beyond.

A Place to Call Home

A Place to Call Home

From trying my first s’more to teaching my first swimming lesson, it’s safe to say my time at camp has been new, exciting, and tasty!

It Takes a Village

It Takes a Village

The village is an amazing place to live. We are surrounded by nature and the things that it gives. Even though we are in this sacred holy place, there are many more things and challenges we must face.
